The chili bowl is the house chili in its purest form -- not as a topping for fries or a hot dog, but as a main in its own right. A proper bowl of chili deserves to be appreciated as a standalone preparation. At The Draft Room the chili bowl is a generous portion of our house beef and bean chili, served in a deep crock with shredded sharp cheddar melted over the top, diced white onion, sour cream, sliced scallions, and pickled jalapenos. Saltine crackers on the side. The crackers are not ironically old-fashioned. They are the correct pairing.
